The Bat is a pottery and ceramics studio owned by a husband-and-wife team based in Freeport, Maine.

Casey
Demers-Lynch
Casey is a Co-Owner of The Bat and a professional potter. She received her B.A. in Art from Colby College in 2009. She makes and sells her work under the name North Window Ceramics, specializing in raku/saggar firing and sgraffito. Before starting her ceramics career, she worked as a professional graphic designer.
Jeff
Demers-Lynch
Jeff is a Co-Owner of The Bat. He spent twenty years as a software engineer, but he is now excited to transition out of the corporate life and into Studio Operations/Management. He’s currently learning how to throw with great dedication and potential.
